Program staff can provide free information and advice about home maintenance, repairs, minor modifications and home security. Project staff can also advise and assist with employing trades people, contracting experts or planning future work. Staff are trained by the Queensland Police Service to undertake security assessments of your home and provide independant and practical advice about property and personal security.
ACRO's Community Connections and Maintenance provides qualified Project Staff to assist with home maintenance/ minor modifications for health and safety including fitting grab rails, ramps and minor renovations. You may be eligible for this service if you are a frail older person; a younger person with a disability or a carer.
