Volunteers are utilised by ACRO primarily in our Individual and Family Support Program. Many students have volunteered with ACRO to gain some experience working in the community service area. ACRO has also been fortunate to benefit from the voluntary services of some retired members of our community. Volunteers must first become a member of ACRO. ACRO's volunteers were also recently recognised for their outstanding contributions to the community by the Queensland Government in the International Year of the Volunteer.
